Tomoko Naito
Vice President, COO
Tomoko Naito had been with MokoNet Inc. since 1996 [until 2015]. As vice president of finance and strategic development, Ms. Naito has helped to establish MokoNet's mission and vision. She was committed to building MokoNet as a leading consultant and application developer, serving the ongoing Internet, intranet and extranet needs of a diverse group of companies.
Before MokoNet, Ms. Naito was a portfolio manager for J.P. Morgan in Tokyo, where she managed pension fund assets invested in international bonds and currencies. Ms. Naito acted as a liaison between fund managers in New York, London and Tokyo to coordinate the execution of investment strategies in different countries.
Ms. Naito also worked closely with J.P. Morgan's technology group to improve the information systems used by traders and fund managers in the company's Tokyo office. Her strong background in Computer Science also contributed to the applied research and currency groups.
Prior to J.P. Morgan, Ms. Naito was a financial industry consultant with Digital Equipment Corp., where she designed trading floors, helped clients implement trading software like Reuters's Triarch 2000, and developed programs to educate clients on emerging technologies.
Ms. Naito received her MBA from Columbia University and holds a master's degree in computer science from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. She was fluent in Japanese and English.
